This was a great hotel. Since I arrived I was greeted by the famous Nancy at the front desk and she was a delight. I had booked a 2 queen bed room because I did not see any one bed and she offered to upgrade me to a 1 king bed at no extra charge. She is very kind and knows a lot about the area when asked her for directions and suggestions. She does deserve a raise. The bed was so relaxing and the room is quiet and neat. The hotel cleans rooms everyday and the lobby area looks so calm and relaxing. The workout room and pool were clean and relaxing. Will definitely be booking my stay again in when in corpus.

The service from the beginning ( walk through the door) was AMAZING!!!!!! Nancy was so accommodating from beginning to end. She was a breath of fresh air and was so very welcoming. When we came in we were allowed to eat breakfast even before the regular check in time. The lady that prepared the breakfast setup was also so warm and welcoming. I definitely will stay here again.

Could hear noise from room above. And could hear them talking through the vent in the restroom. The couch needed to be replaced. The arms were torn and the cushion appeared to have a sheet wrapped around it to hide the wear.

My wife and I come to corpus once a year And we stayed at other hotels. But this was the first time we stayed here at Hawthorne This hotel was very clean comfortable and convenient To where our event was being held The hotel staff, especially the front desk, was very welcoming but that's not the reason I'm leaving this review to let you know I have never left one at any Hotel You see, I had a problem with my reservation. I went through a third party to book this reservation. And come to find out they screwed up my reservation. But Nancy fixed the problem, and And I was very appreciative. We will be staying there again next year. And I will be sure to let all of my bowling buddies know about this hotel Thank you, Nancy.

If you love a slow elevator, this place is for you. They could also do a few repairs to the rooms and update some of the furniture. Breakfast was all quick, unhealthy foods and so we skipped that in lieu of an healthier opinion. Got back to the room after the beach at 2:45 pm and they hadn't cleaned the room but the took all the towels AND not brought replacements. Asked one of the housekeeping crew and she said they only have one washer and they are still washing towels. This is unheard of. Pluses - There are charging stations for the electric car bunch. The room was quiet, that's the best thing about the hotel. We like Wyndham hotels but won't be back to this one next time we are in the area.
